GOLF PROFESSIONALS

Josh Jackson

Golf Instructor & Professional Long Driver

Golf became a part of Josh’s life when he was 12 years old, but golf was not his only talent. In high school, Josh was a 4-sport athlete, earning him a golf and football scholarship from Kentucky State University. After graduating with a Bachelors in Broadcasting Journalism, Josh had opportunities to tryout for the NFL, but golf is, and always has been, his true passion.

In 2013, Josh earned an exemption to the NGA Tour and passed his Playing Ability Test with the PGA. The following year, however, he ruptured his patella and was unable to swing a club for two years. It was during the recovery process that he decided to pursue the sport of Long Drive.

Josh began competing across the country with his first official year on the World Long Drive Tour in 2019, and in 2020, he tied for 2nd in the Men’s Division of the Capital Long Drive Classic at the National Mall in Washington, D.C. In 2021, Josh hit his longest drive in competition at 452 yards.

When he’s not crushing the ball, Josh hangs out at home in Cincinnati, OH.
